Order Policy Change: June 2019
Please note there are some changes in our ordering policies. We no longer require payment in full prior to beginning any builds. For all new builds, we will require a minimum of a 60% down payment payable via check or money order with balance due upon completion prior to shipping that can paid via most major credit cards or check/money order. There are no canceled orders. Build times will be dependent on current work load and will be established at time of ordering.
PURCHASING POLICY Due to the custom design and build of our products, Response Audio NY has a no return policy on all Musica Bella and Purity Audio products. We do not offer any trials or money-back guarantees on custom built products. When you make a buying decision, it is a final decision, not buy-to-try decision. Due to the cost, delicacy and built to order nature of most of the products we carry, we cannot offer in-home trials.
All custom built and manufactured to order items require a 60% down payment. Under no circumstances will custom built or built to order items be subject to any return or cancellations. Down payments must be in the form of personal/business check, money order or certified bank check.
If you change your mind for any reason after the order has been placed and/or parts have been ordered, we will complete the unit and sell the unit for you before a refund can be issued. Only after the unit has been sold will a refund be issued.
RA-NY will work with our customers to resolve any issues related to damage in shipping, however, shipping is FOB Endicott, NY and it is the customers responsibility to initiate a claim with the transportation service used for delivery. We will only ship items fully insured for their replacement value plus shipping cost. If you choose not to have a product insured, Response Audio NY is not responsible for any damages and any/all repair cost will be the consumers responsibility. This includes all international shipments.
METHODS OF PAYMENT:
Prepayment via personal check, money order, or cashiers checks is accepted as well (made payable to William Baker). We reserve the right to wait the appropriate time for any check to clear, before shipping any product. CODs are no longer accepted.
Credit Card payments are now accepted as final payment when product is ready for shipping
For international sales we recommend payment via bank check made out in US funds, or US funds wired to our bank. All prices quoted are in US dollars and do NOT include any taxes or duties which are generally payable by the customer upon receipt of the merchandise on international orders. PLEASE contact us prior to making any international sales. PLEASE NOTE that due to New York state law, we are required to charge sales tax for those orders delivered within New York state. The amount of sales tax applied is dependant on where the customer accepts delivery of the product. Sales tax does NOT apply to orders delivered outside of New York state.
PAYPAL - We are not currently accepting Paypal.
RETURNS: If the new product you receive is damaged or not functioning properly upon receipt, we will work with you to replace or repair it at no cost to you. The customer is responsible for properly repackaging the product for a safe return. and the cost for shipping/returning (including insurance - very important) the product to RA-NY. Unless explicitly agreed to and stated on your invoice by Response Audio NY there are no returns, cash refunds, or store credit unless we cannot resolve any issues associated with a faulty product.
USED EQUIPMENT SALES: All of our used equipment is cleaned, inspected, and tested before shipment unless otherwise stated. Used items are not returnable. We are very conservative on our rating of used gear. If any used piece of equipment is damaged in shipping, RA-NY will work with you in submitting a damage claim with the carrier. In such a case, RA-NY must be notified within 3 business days as most carriers will not honor any claims that take longer than 10 days to submit.
METHODS OF SHIPMENT: Almost all items we ship are shipped via Federal Express Ground or Home Delivery. We may also ship heavier products, over 50 ponds, by freight carrier. All prices, unless otherwise noted, do not include shipping which we calculate at the time you place your order. Faster modes of shipping are available at additional cost. If you desire expedited shipping, please let us know when you place your order. Smaller packages, usually under 5-10 pounds, can be shipped via US Postal Priority Mail but we do not recommend delicate products being shipped through the post office. For international shipments, we also use Fed Ex International, USPS or freight carrier. Please note that you will be responsible for all taxes and duties once the package reaches your destination. Response Audio WILL NOT ship any international packages without the proper invoice total applied. For those who wish to chance not having any insurance, Response Audio will not be responsible for any damages nor are these damages covered under our (or other manufacturers') warranty.
Unless otherwise specified, all new Musica Bella products comes with a 2 year parts and labor warranty and 3 years on Purity products with expressed warranty on supplied tubes. If a product requires warranty service, the consumer is responsible for shipping to our New York facility. Should we find that the problem is a warranty situation, we will return the unit, after repairs have been made, at no cost to you. Should we find that the problem is the result of improper use or outside modification in any way, the consumer will be responsible for repair cost and return shipping.
On all international orders (outside the US and Canada), the consumer/dealer is responsible for all shipping charges if a qualified repair facility cannot be found in your region.
In some situations, we will accept trade ins of various products. Whenever a trade in is considered, the trade value is deducted from the regular selling price of the unit being purchased. No trades will be accepted towards specially priced products unless prior arrangements are made.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error, error in pricing information received from our distributors, or an increase in the price of a product that we are not notified of, Response Audio NY LLC has the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product(s) listed at the incorrect price. You will be notified at time of placing such an order of the error in pricing. We will not charge your credit card or accept payment on any order until you confirm acknowledgement of the correct price. You will have the option of canceling your order or purchasing the product at the proper price.
